„ Legenda despre licantropi s-a născut din frica și respectul omului față de lup, acest animal care a devenit emblematic pentru spiritualitatea românească.
S-a zis că etimologia cuvântului "luptă" provine de la cuvântul "lup". Strămoșii noștri traco-daci au fost un popor mare pentru care lupta era crucială întrucât ei o foloseau doar ca să-și apere pământul.Asemenea lupilor neînfricați , ei trăiau în armonie cu natura , apărându-și teritoriul vital.

Nu e de mirare că steagul lor era un cap de lup.
Am încercat să pun în valoare legenda despre omul-lup , deoarece cunosc semnificația acestei creaturi pentru mitologia noastră...ca simbol pentru prietenia dintre om și lup care durează până dincolo de moarte...ca un simbol  al demnității acestui popor , inaintaș al unei brave și nobile civilizații antice. ”

„Lycanthropy”

Author's description:

„The legend about Lycanthropy was born from fear and respect towards this animal which became emblematic for the Romanian spirituality.It was said that the etymology of the word "lupta"(meaning "fight") comes from the word"lup"(wolf).Our ancestors,the Thraco-Dacians,were a great people for whom fight was crucial as they used it only to defend their land . Like the fearless wolves they lived in harmony with nature,defending their vital territory.No wonder that their flag was a head of wolf.

I tried to value the legend of the wolf man because I know the significance of this creature for our mythology ... as a symbol for the friendship between man and wolf that lasts beyond death ... as a symbol of the dignity of this people, A brave and noble ancient civilization.”

Seduction

„Seducția”

„Dincolo de legendă există o realitate la fel de tulburatoare...vampirismul energetic.Fenomenul seducției , ilustrat printr-un personaj de notorietatea lui Dracula ,sporește complexitatea mesajului acestei picturi , întrucât ideea de victimă este eliminată.
Cele două făpturi înlănțuite într-o îmbrățișare pasională sub mantia sangerie, vorbesc despre mirajul unui transfer energetic ce poartă un nume simplu...dar profund, curat și lipsit de limite sau prejudecăți, Iubire!"

„Seduction”

„Beyond the legend,there is a reality equally exciting...the energetic vampirism.The seduction phenomenon,illustrated by a notorious character like Dracula increases the complexity of the message of this painting,because the idea of victim is eliminated.The two beings become one in a passionate embrace under the blooded mantle ,talk about the mirage of an energy transfer that has a simple name ... but profoundly, cleanly and without limits or prejudices, Love!"

Mioritic space

„Spaţiu Mioritic”

Acest tablou propune ca subiect de meditație acel spațiu din sufletul fiecaruia unde se afla întipărit arhetipul colectiv, identitatea etnică, matricea spirituală a unui grup.

Pornind de la aserțiunea lui Hegel că "omul este sub spirit", extrapolând, ajungem să întelegem conceptul lui Jung privind relația dintre arhetipul colectiv și profilul spiritual individual.

Am realizat această lucrare cu gândul de a vizualiza acest spatiu mioritic, cum il numea al nostru poet filozof Lucian Blaga.

”Un continuum de vai și dealuri acoperite cu iarbă verde, simbol al speranței într-o existență mai bună, bazată pe unitatea de simțire a celor ce împart același spațiu geografic și același orizont cultural.”

„Mioritic space”

Author's description:

"This painting proposes as a subject of meditation that space from the soul of each of us,where the collective archetype,the ethnic identity and the spiritual matrix of the group are embedded.

Starting from Hegel's assertion that "man is under the spirit," by extrapolating, we come to understand Jung's concept of the relationship between the collective archetype and the individual spiritual profile.
I realized this work with the thought of viewing this mioritic space, as our philosopher Lucian Blaga called him.

"A continuum of valleys and hills covered with green grass, a symbol of hope in a better existence, based on the a unity of feeling of those who share the same geographical space and the same cultural horizon."
