„Toamnă Timpurie”

„ Padurea agresată de frig și brumă,de întunericul care umple nopțile și le face din ce în ce mai lungi...

E toamnă și copacii își pierd podoaba de frunze care ,ofilite, sunt luate de vânt și se astern covor.

Momentul acesta al despuierii copacilor de frunze m-a fascinat de mic,de când cutreieram Parcul din Cotroceni ,singurul loc în acele vremuri pe care îl puteam asocia ușor cu dealurile și pădurile de munte...

Realizată în tehnică de cutit,cu tușe dure ,ascuțite și tăioase,cu violență în culoare,lucrarea încearcă să redea momentul de răscruce când natura intră în hibernare.Goi,cu brațele întinse spre soare,modele perfecte de fractali de curgere,copacii dorm în picioare ca niște uriași lignificați.

Ajuns adult,drumețind prin pădurile de munte toamna,am înteles că tăcerea copacilor,ca și a oamenilor,e semn de adâncă întețepciune.”

„The early fall”

Author's description:

„The forest aggressed by the cold and hoar ,by the darkness that fills the nights making them longer and longer...It's autumn and the trees are losing their ornament of leaves  which ,faded,are taken away by the wind and spread down like a carpet.

This moment of leaf stripping has fascinated me since I was a little boy ,since I was wandering through Cotroceni Park ,the only place in those times that I could easily associate with hills and mountain forests.

Made in the knife  technique,with hard touches,sharp and cutting ,with violence in color ,the work tries to catch the crossing moment when nature enters into hibernation.Naked ,with their arms stretched to the sun ,perfect patterns of the flow fractals,the trees sleep on legs like lignificated giants.

As an adult, while walking through the mountain forests in autumn,I understood that the silence of the trees...like that of people..is a sign of deep wisdom.”

Edvard Munch - Profile

"Concentrat asupra operei sale , fascinat de magia liniilor şi a culorilor , preocupat să descopere simbolistica unui crampei de realitate , pe care il recompune apoi în manieră expresionistă pe pânzele sale.

Convins că natura nu înseamnă doar ceea ce putem vedea cu ochii , ci şi peisajele launtrice ale sufletului nostru , Munch îşi propune să transpună în pictură însăşi viaţa , suferinţa şi iubirea.
Boala şi suferinţa proprie nu l-au împiedicat să caute să înţeleagă sensurile lumii în care trăia , ci dimpotrivă , după spusele proprii , au fost cârma fără de care nu ar fi fost decât "un  vapor în derivă" pe marile şi oceanele existenţei.
Această lucrare a fost inspirată din doua litografii ale vremii ,reprezentând profilul artistului.
Tabloul a fost realizat drept omagiu adus marelui pictor expresionist.

„Edvard Munch"

"Focused on his work, fascinated by the magic of lines and colors, preoccupied with discovering the symbolism of a cramp of reality, which he then renders in the expressionist manner on his canvas.

Convinced that nature is not just what we can see with our eyes, but also the inner landscapes of our soul, Munch aims to translate into life, suffering and love itself.

His own illness and suffering did not prevent him from seeking to understand the meaning of the world in which he lived, but on the contrary, according to his own words, was the helm without which it would have been but a "drifting ship" on the seas and oceans of the existence.

This artwork was inspired by two lithographs of the time, representing the artist's profile.
The painting was made as a tribute to the great Expressionist painter.

The mirror of death

„Oglinda Morții”

„Dacă ar fi să il credem pe filozoful existențialist Soren Kierkegaard, angoasa este o stare umană prin excelență ,un fel de simbol al destinului omenesc predispus la neliniști metafizice.

Angoasa provocată de teama de moarte e o tema frecventă în toate domeniile și izvor de inspirație pentru numeroase opere de artă , cel putin în cazul meu...
"Oglinda mortii"își propune să aducă aminte că viața și moartea coexistă și împart același corp material , programat genetic să fie vremelnic pe acest pământ.

Tabloul nu este însă un lamento , o tânguire în limbajul artei vizuale, ci mai degrabă un memento mori. 
Din contemplarea propriei vremelnicii dobândim forța de a da un sens existenței noastre , de a lăsa ceva după noi.”

„The mirror of death”

„If we were to believe the existentialist philosopher Soren Kierkegaard,anxiety is a human state of excellence,a kind of symbol of human destiny,prone to metaphysical anxiety.

Anxiety ,induced by the fear of death is a common theme in all spheres of arts and a source of inspiration for many artworks,at least in my case...
"The Mirror of Death" aims to remember that life and death coexist and share the same genetically programmed body to be temporal on this earth.

But the painting is not  a lamento,a complaint in the language of visual art,but rather a reminder, a Memento mori.
From the contemplation of our own ephemeral condition, we acquire the power to give meaning to our existence,to leave something behind us.”

Tacit message

„Mesaj Tacit”

„ Suntem înconjurați de fluxul continuu al mesajelor transmise cu viteza luminii...ori cu viteza gândului... prin diverse tipuri de unde ale vibrațiilor interioare.

Unele dintre ele sunt atât de subtile încât sunt percepute subiectiv și inconștient doar de cei carora le sunt destinate. 

E limbajul tăcut și misterios al feromonilor.Această lume este precum o simfonie intensificată prin mesaje vizuale și trăiri spirituale.Între făpturile vegetale, animale și cele umane. Sunt chemări spre iubire transmise prin acești produși biochimici...

În modul sau specific, această lucrare transmite un mesaj ce poate fi perceput multiplu prin elemente de compoziție și combinație a culorilor dezvăluite în jocul de linii și contraste.

Un buchet de trandafiri roșii, un recipient pentru cafea ori ceai, o pereche de pantofi eleganți și o carafa cu licoare bahică...ar putea reprezenta compoziția unor elemente subtil sugestive...

Din metafore de imagini cu valoare simbolică se poate naște o poveste după fantezia fiecaruia.

E povestea unui mister care rămâne inafara oricarei explicații logice și care nu poate fi înțeles decât dacă este trăit...”

„Tacit message”

Author's description:

„We are surrounded by the continuous flow of messages transmitted at the speed of light ... or at the speed of thought ... through various kinds of waves of inner vibrations.

Some of them are so subtle that they are perceived subjectively and unconsciously only by those to whom they are intended. 

It is the silent and mysterious language of pheromones. This world is like a symphony intensified by visual messages and spiritual experiences. Among the vegetal,animal and human beings. There are calls to love transmitted through these biochemical products ...

In its specific way,this painting transmits a multi-perceptible message through the composition and combination of colors revealed in lines and contrasts.

A bouquet of red roses, a cup of coffee or tea, a pair of stylish shoes, and a bahicchal lace carafe ... could represent the composition of subtle suggestive elements ...

From metaphors of images of symbolic value, a story can be born after the fantasy of each one. It is the story of a mystery that remains outside any logical explanation and can only be understood if it is lived.”

Science

„Știința"

Descrierea autorului:

„Profilul savantului nebun,ridicat la rang de legendă prin romanul "Frankenstein" al scriitoarei Mary Shelley, a reprezentat o scânteie importantă în realizarea acestei picturi.

Dacă monstrul cu chip de om din literatură este o biată faptură tânjind după afecțiune , monstrul din acest tablou este mai degrabă un simbol.

Este rodul căutărilor în necunoscut ale unui geniu neliniștit atins de aripa nebuniei.

Este rezultatul unor experimente terifiante ce încalcă legile eticii și moralei umane.

Tabloul este așadar o alegorie , pledând prin mijloacele artei vizuale pentru responsabilizarea actului științific.

În epoca noastră , tematică savantului nebun creator de monștri este mai actuala ca oricând.

Sub titlul de "monstru" poate fi orice rezultat al unui experiment științific ce primejduiește viața semenilor sau chiar existența planetei.

Cred că orice om de știință sau mai corect spus savant, trebuie să ia în calcul faptul ca eșecul unei învenții poate fi chiar monstrul de el creat ce se întoarce împotriva creatorului. Astfel să nu uite că și Lucifer s-a întors împotriva creatorului...,ar fi exemplul cel mai popular în cazul eșecului atunci când pierzi controlul. ”

„Science”

Author's description:

„The mad scientist's profile, raised to the legend by the writer Mary Shelley's" Frankenstein ", was an important spark in making this painting.

If the monster with human face from literature is a creature thirsting after  affection, the monster in this painting is rather a symbol.

It is the result of the unknown searches of an anxious genius touched by the madness wing.

It is the result of terrifying experiments that violate the laws of human ethics and morals.

The painting is therefore an allegory, advocating through the means of visual art for the accountability of the scientific act.

In our era, the theme of the mad monster mad scientist is more current than ever.

Under the title "monster" can be any result of a scientific experiment that threatens the lives of others or even the existence of the planet.

I think that any man of science ,or more corectly any scientist, must take into account that the failure of an invention can be the very monster he created that turns against the creator. Otherwise do not forget that Lucifer has turned against the creator ... it would be the most popular example of failure when you lose control. ”
